Education

Thompson River Ranch is part of the well-regarded Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado.  Loveland schools that service the community include Winona Elementary School, Conrad Ball Middle School, Mountain View High School.

There are future plans to build a school in the heart of Thompson River Ranch as part of a shared-use Community Learning Campus.  This new school will be part of the reputable Thompson School District.  Although still in the preliminary planning stages, this new school will likely include K-5 to potentially K-8 grade levels.

Community Learning Campus
Designed to accommodate a wide range of community activities plus support student and community uses outside traditional school hours, residents of Thompson River Ranch will have access to a breadth of learning experiences for all ages at the Community Learning Campus. Examples of support and services that may be offered include: before and after school programs, adult enrichment courses, early childhood learning, and active adult programs.

In a proposed collaboration between Thompson School District, Oakwood Homes and the Foundation for Educational Excellence, this ‘community-centered’ school facility will be constructed in the heart of the Thompson River Ranch community.
